Speaks of the week

Salam. It seems that everybody want to speak this week. So, in honour of those who speaks, we call this week Speaking Week. Haha. Now lets look who’s talking:

  1. Prof Dr Axel A Weber , Deutsche Bundesbank President – he will talk about Eurozone key interest rate and the stimulus package that were introduced by governments. He is one of the most influential members of the ECB Governing Council.
  2. Charles L Evans, President of Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago – He will be speaking in the eventĀ  “The Great Inflation Debate” in New York. He will give you the Nontraditional Monetary Policy and the Economic Outlook.
  3. Dennis P Lockhart, President of Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – He is going to give his view on US and global economic interactions at the World Council Global Business Luncheon in Jacksonville.
  4. Timothy Geithner, US Treasury Secretary – he will be testifying on the Troubled Asset Relief Program in DC. This guy speaks various subjects but the fact that he has to communicate with the President on the economic policies, his signal are often regard as policy shifts in the government.
  5. Donald L Kohn, Federal Reserve Governor – He will be participating on a discussion on US Unconventional Monetary Policy. Before this he had given a talk on Financial Intermediation and the Post Crisis Financial System.
